LOS BECARIOS 22 AG PODRÁN FORMARSE PROFESIONALMENTE EN LA UNIVERSIDAD PROVINCIAL DE OFICIOS
Con el objetivo de propiciar la formación profesional de beneficiarios de las Becas 22 AG, este martes se firmó un convenio entre el Gobierno de la provincia, a través de la Secretaría de las Juventudes, y la Universidad Provincial de Oficios (UPrO) “Eva Perón”.
La oficialización del documento se llevó a cabo en la sede central de la casa de estudios, en Villa Mercedes, procediendo a la rúbrica el rector de la institución, Joaquín Surroca, y el titular de la Secretaría de las Juventudes, Emiliano Blanco. “La iniciativa surge de la inquietud que notamos por parte de las chicas y chicos que son beneficiarios de las Becas 22 AG por aprender un oficio e insertarse en el ámbito laboral. Ante la experiencia recabada en estos años por la UPrO, hablamos con el rector y con su equipo, a los fines de sumar a los becarios a sus planes de estudios”, dijo Blanco.
“Muchos de estos jóvenes ya son estudiantes de la institución –agregó el funcionario-, pero la idea es llevarles la posibilidad a todos para que puedan formarse. Para ello, la segunda instancia del convenio es acercar a diversos puntos de la provincia la oferta académica de la UPrO y ponerla a disposición de esos jóvenes”, continuó el funcionario.
Por su parte, Surroca señaló: “Permanentemente, buscamos reforzar la posibilidad de aprender un oficio a toda la sociedad, lo que mediante este acuerdo ofreceremos a los becarios 22 AG, brindándoles la oportunidad de capacitarse y que tengan una salida laboral asegurada a un trabajo que los está esperando. Gran parte de esto es posible gracias a la política de expansión que lleva adelante la UPrO con sus extensiones áulicas en la capital provincial y en el interior”.
El responsable de la casa de estudios remarcó: “La filosofía de esta universidad implica no solo enseñar oficios, sino acompañar a los estudiantes después de su egreso, procurando que logren insertarse laboralmente. Para ello, les entregamos kits de herramientas afines a cada curso o tecnicatura, incluso tramitamos las matrículas, como es el caso de la carrera de gasista, para lo cual contamos con un acuerdo con la empresa Ecogas”.
