EL SINDICATO TELEFÓNICO DENUNCIA EL “VACIAMIENTO” DE MOVISTAR EN SAN LUIS

Desde el Sindicato Telefónico San Luis se denuncia que la empresa Movistar no invierte en infraestructura para la prestación de servicios en la provincia, sino que también inició un proceso de desinversión con el ofrecimiento a los trabajadores de retiros voluntarios y la supuesta extracción del cableado de cobre.

“Estamos viendo que se está haciendo un vaciamiento desde hace más de un año y medio y que no se hace ninguna inversión en San Luis, sino que la hacen en otras provincias, por ejemplo, en San Juan y Mendoza están fibrando y dando los tres servicios: telefonía, televisión y sistema. Acá en San Luis no hay inversión y aparte está la problemática que están llevando todo el cobre, se lo están robando. Tenemos más de 600 denuncias y no tenemos ni un solo detenido. Eso hace que tengamos el maltrato de todos los clientes porque no le podemos dar respuesta a los clientes que tenemos incomunicados tres o cuatro meses”, contó el secretario general del Sindicato, Jacinto García.

La situación que han padecido varios clientes de la empresa es que se han robado cables de cobre, pero no se reemplazan para que vuelvan a tener el servicio. Esta situación sucedió en una zona de Juana Koslay semanas atrás.

Además de los robos de cables, García reveló que Movistar “contrató empresas para retirar el cobre que queda” y que se desconoce el destino del cableado. Se especula que se puede llevar a otras provincias o directamente la idea es sacarlo, pero no invertir en el tendido de fibra óptica que es lo que se usa.

Teniendo en cuenta que panorama de desinversión que describía el sindicalista se le preguntó si se teme que haya despidos. “Ya hay despidos, ellos les llaman indemnización, pero permanentemente les hacen ofrecimientos y psicológicamente está mal la gente porque no tenés trabajo y te están ofreciendo los retiros voluntarios. Un retiro voluntario para personas que tienen más de 40 años es imposible conseguir otro trabajo. Sabemos que la recaudación es altísima y están invirtiendo en otras provincias”, respondió.

Vale mencionar que la empresa cumple en tiempo y forma con el pago de salarios.

García consideró que se está haciendo un “desmantelamiento” de la empresa y que se está “tercerizando todo el trabajo”. Por otra parte, criticó la inacción del Ente Nacional de Comunicaciones (Enacom) en San Luis por no controlar la prestación del servicio de Movistar. “No vemos que se mueva para ningún lado ese señor”, dijo el secretario en referencia al delegado local del Enacom.

En la tarde del jueves, trabajadores de Movistar realizaron una asamblea y el sindicalista adelantó que la próxima semana se implementarían medidas de fuerza como un paro o quita de colaboración.
