LA EXTENSIÓN DE LA AVENIDA LAFINUR ESTÁ EN SU RECTA FINAL

La obra de extensión de la avenida Lafinur se encuentra en sus últimos metros. La apertura de la arteria -acondicionada con pavimento, cantero central y vereda- se encuentra cerca de su intersección con la Ruta 19, en el sur de la ciudad.

Los trabajos se realizan a lo largo de 2.600 metros aproximadamente, desde Ruta 19 hacia el sur. Además del movimiento de suelos, el proyecto incluye la pavimentación de la doble mano, cordón cuneta, señalización, la construcción de un cantero central y rotondas, iluminación con tecnología LED y forestación.

La obra es de gran relevancia para la zona sur, ya que permitirá aliviar el tránsito sobre Ruta 3, que actualmente es el único acceso a un importante número de barrios construidos en sus márgenes y que se extienden hasta la autopista de las Serranías Puntanas. De este modo, permitirá conectar a unos 3 mil vecinos de la zona sur con el casco céntrico.

Los primeros trabajos comenzaron en febrero de este año y es un proyecto conjunto con el Gobierno de la Provincia, a través del Ministerio de Obra Pública e Infraestructura y la Dirección Provincial de Vialidad.
