Paulina Calderón, electa concejal en San Luis en 2021, es la nueva secretaria de Políticas de Igualdad y Diversidad del gobierno de Alberto Fernández.

Fue presentada por la ministra de las Mujeres, Géneros y Diversidad de la Nación, Ayelén Mazzina, quien agradeció el trabajo realizado por María Cristina Perceval al frente de dicha Secretaría, cargo con el que fue honrada en octubre de 2021 y desde donde ratificó su trayectoria política en defensa de los derechos de las mujeres y LGBTI+.

Calderón es abogada, filósofa y docente graduada en las Universidades Nacionales de Salta y Córdoba. Además, se diplomó en Políticas e Instituciones Educativas con Enfoque de Género en FLACSO. Actualmente cursa la Especialización en Estudios de Género con Intervención en Salud, Educación y Comunicación en la Facultad de Psicología de la Universidad Nacional de San Luis.

Oriunda de San Luis, se desempeñó como presidenta del Honorable Concejo Deliberante de la Ciudad de San Luis (2021-2022), donde designó personas con discapacidad y trans como asesores. Además, promovió el uso de lenguaje no sexista e inclusivo en la documentación de la institución. Fue Ministra de Educación de la provincia (2018-2019), cartera en la que creó el Área de Educación Sexual Integral que institucionalizó a los referentes ESI en cada escuela; y concejala electa para el periodo 2021-2025, cargo en licencia desde el 11 de noviembre de 2022.
