HABRÁ UNA MARCHA POR EL BEBÉ FALLECIDO EN EL POLICLÍNICO DE VILLA MERCEDES

El próximo jueves 12 de enero se realizará una concentración en la plaza San Martín de Villa Mercedes, pidiendo Justicia por Oliver, el bebé que murió en el policlínico de dicha ciudad por una supuesta mala praxis que ocurrió en el momento del parto, el pasado 28 de diciembre.

Sebastián Fernández, el papá de Oliver, contó a Radio Ciudad que la criatura nació viva, pero al poco tiempo murió por asfixia, según lo determinó la autopsia. Fernández relató además el maltrato que sufrió su pareja Rocío Yuman, de 22 años y madre primeriza, en el nosocomio.

Sebastián contó que alrededor de las 17 horas del pasado 28 de diciembre ingresaron a la guardia a la mamá, quien tenía 6 centímetros de dilatación, por lo que decidieron colocarle “suero y un gotero y esperar a que dilatara más” y tener un parto normal.

“Cuando ella ya tenía 9 de dilatación fue el doctor a romperle la bolsa y a mí me hicieron salir afuera. Después de una hora y algo fueron recién a controlarle los latidos del corazón, cuando ella ya tenía la bolsa rota, la pusieron de costado, fueron a controlarle los latidos del corazón al bebé y de un lado no se escuchaban. A ella la pusieron boca arriba y le querían controlar los latidos del lado de arriba, pero no se escuchaba nada, así que la dieron vuelta para el otro lado y ahí empezaron a escuchar los latidos del bebé”, contó Fernández, quien presenció todo desde el pasillo.

Luego a Rocío le comenzaron a hacer un tacto vaginal y desde el pasillo Sebastián escuchaba como le decían

“dale, hacé fuerza que sino el bebé se te va a morir”.

“Cuando quiero ver, a ella se le sube una enfermera arriba y le empieza a hacer fuerza en la panza para que saliera el bebé por parto normal. Ella es mamá primeriza y en el último control le dijeron que el bebé pesaba 2 kilos 810 gramos y estaba todo normal. Cuando pasó todo esto, la dieron vuelta en la camilla y la pusieron en 4, le empezaron a meter la mano y decían que lo que primero había salido era el cordoncito del bebé y no la cabeza; y ella (la enfermera) tenía que meter la mano para empujar la cabeza para que el bebé no obstruyera el cordón umbilical y se quedara sin oxígeno. La agarraron, la pusieron en 4, se subió un enfermero a la camilla y con la misma bata que ellos van al quirófano le ataron la panza y el mismo médico desde arriba el hacía fuerza para que saliera el bebé”, continuó relatando Sebastián.

En su opinión, la madre necesitaba una cesárea cuanto antes, más aún teniendo en cuenta que el bebé pesaba más de 4,100 kg. “Es imposible que una mamá primeriza tenga un bebé de ese peso por parto normal. Ellos lo que tendrían que haberle hecho es una cesárea desde un principio”, comenzó Sebastián, quien aseguró que habían asistido a todos los controles prenatales y que “el bebé estaba sanito”. En uno de los controles, un médico le dijo que “la cabecita estaba un poco desplazada, pero supuestamente con las mismas contracciones el bebé se iba a acomodar solo”. Cabe señalar que este no fue el médico que atendió a Rocío durante el trabajo de parto, sino que fue uno de los que estaba de turno.

Después de largos y agónicos minutos, a Rocío la llevaron al quirófano, pero “el anestesista tardó entre 20 y 25 minutos en llegar al hospital. El médico, cuando le hacía el tacto y a ella la llevaron en la camilla, el médico estaba supuestamente sosteniendo la cabeza para no obstruir el cordón para que el bebé pudiera respirar, pero el doctor no podía esperar 25 minutos con la mano allá dentro”, relató Fernández.

El anestesista finalmente llegó y se procedió con la cesárea, pero el bebé falleció minutos después de nacer. “Nadie daba una explicación coherente y entre unos y otros se echaban la culpa. El Dr. se largó a llorar en mi cara y me pidió perdón, o sea que a él no le está quedando la conciencia tranquila de que a su trabajo lo hizo bien, porque sino, ¿por qué me pediría perdón? “, consideró Sebastián.

Las irregularidades, desafortunadamente, no terminaron ahí, sino que, al día siguiente, cuando el forense fue a entrevistar a Rocío, “los mismos médicos” no lo dejaban ingresar a la habitación. “El forense tuvo que llamar a la Policía y tuvieron que venir 3 para que recién el forense pudiera pasar y entrevistarla”, contó Sebastián.

En cuanto a la autopsia, por el momento solo se ha determinado que murió “por asfixia”, pero todavía no le comunicaron a Sebastián los detalles.

“A dos semanas de su fallecimiento, invitamos y convocamos a todas las personas que quieran apoyar, y también a quienes hayan sufrido mala praxis, negligencias y maltratos en instituciones médicas”, transmitió Yésica Manchento, tía de Oliver Fernández, dando a conocer la marcha que partirá el próximo 12 de enero, a las 19 horas, desde plaza San Martín.
