LULA DA SILVA AFIRMÓ QUE LA MONEDA COMÚN ENTRE ARGENTINA Y BRASIL “VA A SUCEDER”

El presidente de Brasil Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva afirmó este mediodía en la rueda de prensa junto al presidente Alberto Fernández que el proyecto de moneda común entre Argentina y Brasil “va a suceder” y se preguntó: “¿Por qué no intentar una moneda común de Sudamérica?”.

“Lo que queremos trabajar ahora que nuestros Ministros de Hacienda con sus respectivos equipos de trabajo puedan hacernos una propuesta de comercio exterior y transacciones entre los dos países que se haga en una moneda común y que se construya luego de mucho debate y reuniones. Esto va a suceder”, afirmó el flamante Presidente de Brasil, quien arribó a su tercer mandato.

En el marco de la firma de acuerdos junto a Fernández y ministros de ambos gobiernos en Casa Rosada, Lula recordó que en 2008 existió una breve experiencia de una “moneda común” entre Argentina y Brasil, pero no tuvo la “influencia” que imaginaban ambos países. “Si dependiera de mi, tendría siempre comercio exterior con la moneda de otros países para que no estemos dependiendo del dólar. ¿Por qué no intentar una moneda común de Sudamércia como se intentó con los países del BRICS?”, dobló la apuesta Da Silva.

“Creo que eso va a suceder y es necesario que eso suceda porque hay países que tienen dificultad de adquirir dólares y no se pueden establecer acuerdos”, añadió el mandatario del gigante sudamericano, al mismo tiempo que destacó que “todo lo que es nuevo debe ser probado” y que finalizando el primer cuarto del Siglo XXI no se puede seguir comercializando de la misma manera.

“Vamos a crear las condiciones para ayudar al Gasoducto Néstor Kirchner”, afirmó Lula al mismo tiempo que destacó que la financiación de la obra era de interés del Estado y los privados y resaltó el trabajo se podría llevar a cabo junto al Banco Nacional de Desarrollo Económico y Social (BNDES).

En tanto, Alberto Fernández destacó que “no se sabe cómo funcionaría una moneda común”, pero se sabe cómo funcionan las economías dependiendo de las monedas extranjeras para comercializar y “sabemos lo nocivo de eso”; en ese contexto, el Presidente “celebró” la vocación de Brasil y destacó que “si no nos atrevemos a cambiar vamos a seguir padeciendo los mismos males”.

Respecto de la posibilidad de que Brasil pueda financiar a través del BNDES el Gasoducto dijo que en una decisión que está en “manos” del gigante sudamericano, pero que “lo alienta los dichos de Lula”. A su vez, destacó la importancia de licitar “cuanto antes” el segundo tramo y aprovechar la “inercia” de la primera etapa e intentar llegar al punto de unión con Brasil y poder traspasarle gas si lo necesita, “más cuando ambos países estamos sufriendo la declinación de gas de Bolivia, por eso creo que vamos a avanzar muy bien”, resaltó.

Al inicio de su discurso, Da Silva destacó que en su primer visita a Argentina en 2003, cuando aún Eduardo Duhalde era presidente, la relación comercial entre Brasil y Argentina era de 7 mil millones de dólares y luego de ocho años, en 2011, llegó a ser de 39 mil millones de dólares.

Lula también destacó la importancia de la relación con Argentina y afirmó que “recuperaremos una relación que nunca debería haber sido detenida”, le pidió disculpas a Fernández por los dichos de Bolsonaro en su contra y resaltó: “Volví para hacer acuerdos con Argentina, para compartir la construcción de lo que falta y ayudar a que Argentina y Brasil crezcan económicamente, para que nuestros pueblos tengan vivienda, que nuestros pueblos puedan comer por lo menos tres veces por día, que nuestros pueblos puedan estudiar, trabajar y tener acceso a la cultura”.

El presidente de Brasil eligió a Argentina como su primera visita extranjera luego de asumir su tercera presidencia y volvió a incluir al gigante sudamericano dentro de la Comunidad de Estados Latinoamericanos y Caribeños (CELAC), que sesionará mañana.
