DALMA AGÜERO ES LA NUEVA CAMPEONA CUYANA DE BOXEO FEMENINO
Dalma Agüero es boxeadora y futbolista del Club Deportivo Desarrollo Social y este fin de semana se consagró campeona cuyana de la WPC -World Pugilism Commission- en la categoría de 54 kg mayores, por puntos en decisión unánime. Se impuso frente a la boxeadora Romina Olivares, de Mendoza.
Dalma es beneficiaria de Inclusión Social y boxea desde los 13 años. Contó que empezó como un hobbie hasta que se fue dando cuenta que tenía posibilidades: “Me gustó y gracias a Dios tuve talento y le di para adelante, tengo muchas metas, hasta Campeona del Mundo no paro”.
Dijo que su mentor e instructor fue el boxeador Daniel Carriqueo, quien falleció en 2018 y a quien le dedicó el triunfo de este fin de semana.
“Este torneo fue ganado por puntos, competí el 9 de diciembre del año pasado, gané por decisión unánime también, se ve que gusté allá en otra provincia. Me tocó pelear con la misma chica, por los puntos que teníamos. Fue una pelea complicada para mí porque tenía mucha presión, necesitaba ganar, una meta personal; me mentalicé en eso y me enfoqué en traer el cinturón a la casa”, expresó.
Contó que realiza una rutina de entrenamiento de doble turno todos los días, que empieza temprano con trote y por la tarde aeróbico y resistencia. “Yo estaba entrenando con el equipo de fútbol del Ministerio y me dieron la oportunidad para poder entrenar y llevar a cabo este campeonato de boxeo”, agregó.
