SAN LUIS FINALIZÓ 2° EN LOS JUEGOS BINACIONALES POR PRIMERA VEZ EN 25 EDICIONES
El viernes finalizaron los 25° Juegos Binacionales en la región de Valparaíso y los deportistas de San Luis volvieron a ser noticia: ganaron 51 medallas y se subieron al 2° lugar del podio final. Es el mayor logro histórico de la provincia de San Luis en 25 ediciones de Binacionales. Primero quedó la región Metropolitana de Chile, lo que significa que San Luis fue la mejor de las 4 provincias argentinas que participaron.
En la última jornada la delegación puntana conquistó tres medallas de oro, cuatro de plata y una de bronce. Los oros llegaron de la mano de la natación en las pruebas de relevos mixtos 4×100, 200 metros libres y 50 metros mariposa, ambos femeninos. A su vez, las medallas plateadas fueron aportadas por el handball y el tenis masculino, y la natación en los 400 metros combinados femeninos, 200 metros libres femeninos y en los 50 metros mariposa masculinos. El bronce fue obra del ciclista Ismael Vázquez en los 100 kilómetros de ruta.
Con estas conquistas, San Luis volvió a romper sus récords por cuarta edición consecutiva, ya que las 51 medallas obtenidas dejaron atrás las 47 ganadas en 2022 y las 21 doradas de este año superaron a las 19 de 2021.
“Este año asumimos el desafío de volver a ser visitantes tras los Juegos que se hicieron en San Luis y nuestros deportistas volvieron a demostrar su talento y amor por la provincia. Lo que se consiguió es histórico porque somos la provincia más chica de las 8 que compiten”, celebró la secretaria de Deportes, Cintia Ramírez.
“El deporte de San Luis se supera año tras año y no es casualidad: junto con los dirigentes, entrenadores y deportistas realizamos un trabajo serio y sostenido en el tiempo, y los resultados están a la vista.
