Miles de turistas eligieron San Luis para disfrutar de sus bellezas naturales y las múltiples opciones que ofrece. Este fin de semana tuvo un color especial por el arribo del primer vuelo de la aerolínea chilena Sky Airline, que unirá Santiago con el Aeropuerto Internacional Valle del Conlara. De este modo, como resultado de las gestiones realizadas por el Gobierno provincial, se inauguró esta nueva ruta aérea, abriendo las puertas al turismo internacional.
En lo que respecta a este vuelo, en total, 713 personas utilizaron los servicios aéreos que conectan el Valle del Conlara con Buenos Aires y Chile entre los viajes del jueves 25 y domingo 28 de mayo. Estos números históricos fueron confirmados por el Ente de Desarrollo Aeronáutico de la Secretaría de Transporte, además detallaron que los vuelos de Aerolíneas Argentina hacia Buenos Aires y viceversa fueron utilizados por 330 personas, mientras que los vuelos de SKY Airline hacia Santiago de Chile y viceversa fueron 383 pasajeros.
