FINALMENTE SE APROBÓ LA CREACIÓN DEL CONSEJO AMBIENTAL MUNICIPAL
Luego de la bochornosa sesión verde de este año, el Concejo Deliberante volvió a tratar la creación del Consejo Municipal Ambiental, logrando esta vez su aprobación por 8 votos afirmativos y 6 abstenciones de la oposición, la cual no argumentó en esta ocasión su postura, como si lo hizo la otra vez.
Es más, el concejal del PRO, Otoniel Pérez Miranda, se manifestó a favor del proyecto y de las políticas medioambientales, pero al final se terminó absteniendo.
De este modo, la única alocución fue la del Alejandro Cordido, que sorprendentemente habló menos de media hora esta vez. “Me remito a los fundamentos que expresamos oportunamente, que entendemos que fueron suficientes y reflejan el sentido que tiene este instrumento”, dijo el concejal. “Poner el acento en las políticas ambientales, de destacar la necesidad que tenemos de lograr la mayor participación posible de la ciudadanía en la definición de las cuestiones ambientales, de las políticas públicas que deben ser proyectadas, puestas en ejecución y definidas”, agregó Cordido.
El oficialista también señaló que en el proyecto se deja plasmado que la creación de este Consejo no implica la creación de ningún cargo y que será integrado ad honorem, ya que esta era justamente una de las preocupaciones que manifestó la oposición en la sesión verde.
A pesar de estas modificaciones, desde la oposición no se dijo nada sobre el proyecto, el cual pasó a votación, logrando su aprobación por mayoría.
