CONDENARON A PERPETUA A LOS POLICÍAS QUE MATARON A LUCAS GONZÁLEZ: EL CRIMEN FUE MOTIVADO POR EL “ODIO RACIAL”
Los jueces Ana Dieta de Herrero, Daniel Navarro y Marcelo Bartumeu Romero, a cargo del Tribunal Oral en lo Criminal N°25 porteño, condenaron a prisión perpetua los policías de la Ciudad acusados de matar a Lucas González, el adolescente de 17 años que fue asesinado el 17 de noviembre de 2021 en el barrio porteño de Barracas. Los magistrados le dieron la derecha a la acusación: consideraron que el crimen fue motivado por odio racial.
Los tres policías condenados como autores del crimen de Lucas fueron el inspector Gabriel Alejandro Isassi (42), el oficial mayor Juan José López (48) y el oficial Fabián Andrés Nieva (38), integrantes de la División Brigadas y Sumarios 6 de la Comuna 4 de la Policía de la Ciudad. Les endilgaron el delito de homicidio quíntuplemente agravado con alevosía y odio racial. “Esto es histórico, no existe una sentencia por racismo. Los mataron por negros, por marrones”, remarcó al finalizar la audiencia Gregorio Dalbón, abogado de las víctimas.
Los tres no solo fueron condenados por el crimen de Lucas. También se los castigó por intentar matar a los tres amigos del joven, por privación ilegal de la libertad y por falsedad ideológica.
“Tuvimos un tribunal serio y dos fiscales serios, hemos hecho un gran equipo, trabajamos a full”, comentó Dalbón, quien pidió investigar cómo funcionan las brigadas de las policías: “No podemos estar a merced de quienes nos tienen que cuidar”.
El tribunal condenó además a seis policías por los delitos de encubrimiento, específicamente, por haber ayudado a Gabriel Isassi a intentar hacer pasar el hecho como un enfrentamiento armado, y por privación ilegal de la libertad. Luego, absolvió a otros cinco acusados.
El subcomisario Roberto Inca y el comisario Juan Horacio Romero (ambos jefes de la Brigada donde operaban los tres condenados a perpetua), el comisario de la 4D Fabián Du Santos, y el comisario de la 4A, Rodolfo Alejandro Ozán, recibieron la pena de seis años de prisión.
Además, el inspector Héctor Cuevas, que fue quien reveló cómo operaron Isassi, Inca y el policía Facundo Torres (detenido, pero investigado en una causa paralela) recibió la pena de 4 años de prisión.
El oficial Sebastián Baidón, que llegó al lugar del hecho como chofer de Cuevas, también fue condenado. Recibió la pena de ocho años de prisión porque, además de los delitos que se le imputaron a sus compañeros, fue considerado autor del delito de torturas contra los sobrevivientes. En el juicio, Joaquín Zuñiga lo señaló como el agente que le dijo: “Así que sos de Varela, villero, tendrías que estar muerto como tu amigo”.
En tanto, fueron absueltos Ramón Jesús Chocobar, Angel Darío Arévalos, Jonathan Alexis Martínez, Daniel Espinosa y el comisario Daniel Santana.

La sentencia se leyó en el auditorio AMIA de los tribunales de Comodoro Py, con su planta baja y primer piso colmados, junto a una fuerte manifestación de familiares, amigos y organizaciones sociales en la calle. El proceso, que se inició el 16 de marzo pasado, incluyó más de 50 testigos, entre ellos el ex ministro de Justicia y Seguridad porteño Marcelo D’Alessandro, que complicó con su relato a los policías acusados.
Los argumentos del veredicto se conocerán más adelante. A la lectura de la sentencia asistieron los padres de Lucas, los tres amigos que sobrevivieron al ataque y el secretario de Derechos Humanos de la Nación, Horacio Pietragalla.
