ASUMIÓ ROALD CATTÁNEO COMO NUEVO FISCAL DE ESTADO DE LA PROVINCIA
El abogado Roald Cattáneo prestó juramento este lunes como nuevo fiscal de Estado de la Provincia, en un acto que encabezó el gobernador, Alberto Rodríguez Saá, en el Salón de la Puntanidad de Terrazas del Portezuelo.
En la oportunidad, también asumió Melina Maluf Martínez como fiscal de Estado Adjutor. Del acto participaron funcionarios del Gabinete provincial, integrantes del Superior Tribunal de Justicia, diputados, senadores y allegados a los nuevos titulares de la Fiscalía de Estado.
El Senado provincial prestó acuerdo para los nombramientos de Cattáneo y de Maluf Martínez en la sesión del martes de la semana pasada.
“Son personalidades que reúnen todas las calidades para el cargo”, aseguró Rodríguez Saá, quien además destacó la trayectoria de ambos profesionales dentro del ámbito del derecho. “Nos sentimos orgullosos del día de hoy, por el presente y el futuro que se avecina. Quiero destacar en la Fiscalía de Estado, el equipo formado que se ha desempeñado y se viene desempeñando maravillosamente”, aseguró.
El gobernador destacó además la importancia de la defensa de los derechos de la provincia desde la legalidad como fue el caso de la lucha por los derechos de coparticipación. “Tiene como símbolo el fallo de la Corte Suprema que nos devolvió derechos sobre la coparticipación federal, que ha significado una lucha enorme a la que nunca este equipo claudicó y tuvo un enorme empeño”, agregó.
Con una trayectoria de más de 20 años en la dependencia judicial, Cattáneo ocupaba el cargo de Adjutor y ahora reemplazará a Eduardo Allende, quien ya es parte del Superior Tribunal de Justicia.
“Tengo la suerte de tener un gran equipo de compañeros de trabajo. Son, más allá de donde esté cada uno de nosotros, muy buenos. La expectativa es siempre mejorar en lo posible”, dijo el flamante fiscal de Estado luego del acto.
Y completó: “Para alguien que se formó en el Estado y que llega ahora a ocupar el cargo del más importante como abogado del Estado, me siento muy orgulloso en ese sentido”.
La abogada y escribana Maluf Martínez, quien se desempeña como vicerrectora de la Universidad Católica de Cuyo, Sede San Luis, reconoció la importancia de esta nueva etapa profesional. “Pienso poner todo mi compromiso para que el organismo y la defensa de los intereses del Estado sea la mejor. Vuelvo a un lugar donde hay personas y profesionales muy valiosos que me merecen el mayor de los respetos y que han sido compañeros de trabajo, así que es una gran alegría”, señaló.
