FESTIVAL JOVEN EN LA UNSL
La ENJPP, a través de la Red interuniversitaria de Derechos Humanos del Consejo Interuniversitario Nacional, fue invitada a participar del Programa Jóvenes y Memoria, que coordina la Comisión Provincial por la Memoria (CPM) presidida por el premio Nobel de la Paz Adolfo Perez Ezquivel.
El programa consiste en el desafío de realizar un trabajo de investigación de un tema vinculado a los derechos humanos, con el objetivo de promover entre los y las adolescentes el sentido crítico de las problemáticas que ocurren dentro en la realidad local.
Sentimos que nos teníamos que involucrar como estudiantes críticos ante los problemas cotidianos de nuestra comunidad. Elegimos el tema de la violencia policial como uno de los modos en los que se ejerce la violencia institucional, aquella que proviene de algún aparato del Estado y que tiene como consecuencia, la vulneración de algún derecho humano. Elegimos este tema porque algunos de nosotros hemos sido víctimas de esa represión, pasando por experiencias traumáticas y sin poder hacer nada por miedo o porque no sabíamos qué hacer cuando nos detiene la policía.
En la discusión se trajeron a la memoria la naturalización de la violencia evidenciada desde el punto de vista de otras personas de mayor edad (colaboradores/as del proyecto, familiares de los/as estudiantes), que durante su adolescencia y juventud también fueron víctimas de este abuso policial. Pero lo que más nos motivó fue el hecho puntual que ocurrió el 31 de julio del 2022, dónde los jóvenes artistas de la plaza principal de nuestra provincia fueron ilegal e injustamente reprimidos por hacer arte. Así nos decidimos por investigar la violencia policial hacia los adolescentes y jóvenes que realizan prácticas culturales callejeras.
El trabajo consistió en la recolección de información mediante entrevistas en profundidad a organismos de derechos humanos y a funcionarios del poder judicial, para conocer si reciben denuncias sobre vulneración de derechos hacia los jóvenes artistas, sus miradas acerca de la situación de abuso policial en la ciudad de San Luis y acciones que se hayan realizado en torno a esta problemática. Sin embargo, la mayor fuente de información, fueron los adolescentes y jóvenes víctimas de la violencia policial.
Este festival fue precisamente pensado para visibilizar una problemática que nos afecta como jóvenes y como un modo de agradecer a todos aquellos y aquellas que se animaron a dar su testimonio; que mejor, entonces, que celebrarlo mostrando su arte.
Por ello organizamos este “BANDALIZARTE” compartiendo con artistas que hacen de las calles su propio escenario, que se apropian del espacio urbano y lo pintan de color y le ponen rima y ritmo, que nos cuentan con el pincel, con la voz y con el cuerpo, lo que no funciona en la sociedad, que expresan con una estética diferente lo que piensan y sienten. Hoy hacemos de este espacio “la explanada del arte de la UNSL”.
