UN JOVEN DE 24 AÑOS MURIÓ ESTA NAVIDAD TRAS UN ENFRENTAMIENTO ENTRE DOS FAMILIAS
Este 25 de diciembre por la mañana, el barrio 100 Viviendas se vio sacudido por una violenta pelea que dejó como saldo un joven en estado crítico y con muerte cerebral, cuyo fallecimiento fue confirmado horas después. La Oficina de Judiciales de la Comisaría Seccional Séptima informó que se encuentran llevando a cabo las diligencias correspondientes en relación con los hechos ocurridos en la manzana N° 304, a la altura de la casa Nro 11.
La confrontación, cuyas circunstancias aún se están investigando, involucró a dos grupos de personas, principalmente a la familia Marín y a otra familia de apellido Zabala. El enfrentamiento resultó en varias personas lesionadas, siendo dos de la familia Marín apuñaladas y dos de la familia Zabala con traumatismos.
El joven de 24 años identificado como Sergio Alexis Zabala, residente en el barrio 9 de Julio, casa N° 6, fue internado en estado crítico en el hospital Ramón Carrillo. Según el parte médico, presentaba un traumatismo encefalocraneal grave y muerte cerebral. Ante la gravedad de la situación, el personal médico solicitó la presencia de familiares para los trámites necesarios, incluida la posibilidad de ablación de órganos.
En el lugar del incidente, inicialmente trabajó el personal de Judiciales de la Comisaría 7ma, bajo la supervisión de la subcomisario Andrea Cáceres. Posteriormente, se sumó personal de Homicidios, trabajando en conjunto para esclarecer los detalles del altercado. Además, se convocó a personal de DG 12 para colaborar ante posibles disturbios.
Horas después se confirmó el fallecimiento de Sergio Alexis Zabala, lo que ha llevado a la causa a ser instruida por el Departamento de Homicidios, dependiente de la Dirección General de Investigaciones, con la intervención del fiscal Francisco Asad. Aunque aún no se ha especificado la carátula oficialmente, se presume que se trataría de un homicidio en riña, aunque la determinación final quedará en manos del fiscal.
Hasta el momento, no hay personas detenidas, pero se han identificado a los presuntos responsables. La investigación sigue su curso, a la espera de las decisiones y definiciones que la fiscalía tome respecto al caso.
