DOS PLANTAS DE RECICLADO RECUPERARON Y VENDIERON MÁS DE 44 TONELADAS DE VIDRIO Y CARTÓN
Se trata de ‘La Jarilla’ y ‘El Jote’, ubicadas en Quines y Carpintería, que están a cargo de la secretaría de Ambiente y Desarrollo Sustentable. El material vendido a las empresas Gerplast S.A (Mendoza) y Recumat S.A (Córdoba) será reinsertado al proceso industrial.
Más de 44 toneladas de material reciclable fueron recuperados en las plantas de tratamiento y reciclado ‘La Jarilla’, que recepciona los residuos del norte provincial, y de la planta ‘El Jote’, que recibe los residuos que se generan en la zona serrana de los Comechingones.
En total ambas plantas recuperaron y vendieron 13 toneladas de cartón y 7 toneladas de PET cristal a la empresa ‘Recumat’ S.A de la ciudad de Río Cuarto, y 24 toneladas de vidrio a ‘Gerplast’ S.A, de la provincia de Mendoza.
La Economía Circular fortalece la política que apunta a cuidar el ambiente y la salud. Entre sus múltiples beneficios el modelo circular promueve preservar la naturaleza y reduce las emisiones de gases de efecto invernadero. La clave de este modelo consiste en que los recursos se mantengan en la economía el mayor tiempo posible, promoviendo que los residuos que se generan en toda la provincia puedan servir de materia prima para otras industrias.
Las actividades que se implementan en las cuatro plantas de tratamiento y reciclado provincial cumplen un rol elemental, ya que para tener una recolección exitosa todos los desechos que ingresan son depositados en una tolva. Allí reciben la primera clasificación, para luego ser trasladados por una cinta transportadora, donde son clasificados manualmente por los operarios. Luego de ser diferenciados según el material (vidrios, plásticos, cartones y metales), son prensados y enfardados por medio de máquinas especiales para poder ser transportados y reutilizados.
