LA INFLACIÓN DE DICIEMBRE FUE DE 25,5% Y EL ACUMULADO DE 2023 LLEGÓ A 211,4%
Alimentos y bebidas no alcohólicas aportó la mayor incidencia sobre la variación mensual en todas las regiones del país. La división con mayor alza mensual en diciembre 2023 fue Bienes y servicios varios (32,7%), escoltada por Salud (32,6%). por las variaciones en medicamentos y las cuotas de medicina prepaga; y Transporte (31,7%), por los incrementos en los combustibles.
El índice de precios al consumidor (IPC-Costo de Vida) registró en diciembre una suba de 25,5% y de 211,4% a lo largo de 2023, informó este jueves el Instituto Nacional de Estadística y Censos (Indec).
El incremento de 211,4% registrado en 2023 fue el más alto desde 1990 a la fecha, año que cerró con una hiperinflación de 1.349%.
Rubro por rubro
En diciembre, la división de mayor aumento fue Bienes y servicios varios (32,7%), producto de las subas en artículos de cuidado personal; seguida por Salud (32,6%), por las variaciones en medicamentos y las cuotas de medicina prepaga; y Transporte (31,7%), por los incrementos en los combustibles.
Sin embargo, la división con mayor incidencia en todas las regiones fue Alimentos y bebidas no alcohólicas, con un incremento del 29,7%, preciso el Indec, impulsada por los precios de la Carne y derivados, y de Pan y cereales.
En este último caso la suba fue explicada por el fuerte incremento los precios de la Carne y derivados, y de Pan y cereales.
En los cortes de carne y derivados los aumentos más importantes fueron en cuadril (42%), nalga (40%) y hamburguesas (36%).
En tanto, en el rubro panaderil las subas más sensibles se dieron en el precio del pan de mesa (38,4%), galletitas dulces (39%) y la harina de trigo (52%).
En el rubro alimentos el único producto que forma parte de la medición que marcó un retroceso en los precios en diciembre fue el tomate redondo, con una baja de 24,5% respecto a noviembre.
En el último mes de 2023, los rubros que registraron las menores variaciones fueron Educación, 6,2%; y Vivienda, agua, electricidad y otros combustibles, 13,8%.
Por categorías, el IPC Núcleo aumentó 28,3%; seguida por los Precios Regulados, 20,7%; y los productos y servicios Estacionales, que registraron un incremento de 16,2%.
En el acumulado de doce meses, por su parte, los productos regulados aumentaron 164,9%; los estacionales, 179%; y la ínflación núcleo marcó un incremento de 229,4%.
Zona por zona
Por regiones, en diciembre las provincias del noroeste argentino fueron donde los precios más subieron, con un promedio de 28,4%, casi tres puntos porcentuales más que la medición general.
Por el contrario, la Patagonia, con un incremento de 24,3%, fue la región con el nivel de inflación más baja durante el último mes del año pasado.
Las demás regiones se ubicaron en la media general del 25%: Gran Buenos Aires (Conurbano bonaerense más CABA), 25,1%; Noroeste, 25,2%; región Pampeana, 25,7%; y Cuyo, 25,8%.
Con una inflación general acumulada de 211,4% a lo largo de 2023, la región Noreste fue también la que más subió a lo largo de los doce meses del año pasado, con un alza de 219,5%.
También por encima de la media general se colocaron las provincias del noroeste, con un acumulado de 212,5%, y la región Pampeana, 212,8%.
En tanto, por debajo del promedio de 211,4% se ubicaron el GBA (210,1%), Patagonia (207,7%) y Cuyo (207,2%).
La inflación acumulada durante el gobierno de Alberto Fernández pasó del 36,1% en 2020, un año signado por las medidas de aislamiento por la pandemia de coronavirus, al 50,9% en el acumulado de 2021.
La tasa se aceleró hasta el 94,8% en 2022, año que tuvo hasta el 2 de julio a Martín Guzmán al frente del Ministerio de Economía, reemplazado por espacio de un mes por Silvina Batakis y luego -en los primeros días de agosto- por Sergio Massa, que estuvo a cargo del Palacio de Hacienda hasta el 10 de diciembre pasado, tras perder las elecciones presidenciales en el balotaje con el por entonces candidato por La Libertad Avanza, Javier Milei.
