SAN LUIS AGUA BRINDÓ UN INFORME SOBRE LAS COTAS ACTUALES DE DIQUES Y EMBALSES PROVINCIALES
Según el relevamiento del organismo que pertenece al ministerio de Desarrollo Productivo, el estado de diques y embalses de San Luis es positivo en líneas generales. Tras atravesar periodos en los que los niveles de agua oscilaban cercanos a cifras históricamente bajas por las lluvias escasas y de poca envergadura, en la última semana experimentaron una recarga excepcional. Además, ninguna presa registró daños estructurales pese a soportar ingresos de agua extraordinariamente altos.
San Luis recuperó un estado positivo en sus diques y embalses gracias a las lluvias caídas en todo el territorio provincial durante los últimos días. La recarga fue categorizada como histórica por San Luis Agua, debido a que cada estructura pudo soportar niveles de agua muy altos sin sufrir daños edilicios. El dique ‘Antonio Esteban Agüero’ cuenta actualmente con una cota de 0.15 metros sobre coronamiento, vierte por su vertedero principal sin entrar en funcionamiento su par secundario. Su válvula de chorro hueco de medio fondo está abierta en un 5% de su capacidad a fin de regular y disminuir progresivamente esa cota. No reviste mayores inconvenientes, debido a que llegó a soportar tirantes de 1.55 metros sobre su coronamiento, generando grandes caudales de aguas abajo y su espectacular vertido por vertedero. Como se puede observar en el siguiente gráfico de cotas de embalse a lo largo del mes de febrero, la variabilidad de cotas se debe principalmente a que, al estar sobre coronamiento, erogó agua por el aliviadero principal y por la válvula de medio fondo en simultáneo, como así también en el mayor pico de crecida activó su segundo aliviadero. Así, los niveles decrecen rápidamente al cabo de 24 horas, siempre regulado por San Luis Agua.
Debido a los grandes aportes del río Trapiche y a los caudales erogados desde el dique ‘Antonio Esteban Agüero’, La Florida recibió una gran recarga de agua y, por consiguiente, la elevación de su nivel en 2.35 metros. Estos volúmenes embalsados tuvieron como efecto principal la disminución de costas, que ya se encontraban bastante alejadas por los niveles bajos del embalse. Como se detalla en el siguiente gráfico, es muy marcado el efecto que tuvieron las precipitaciones en la cuenca de aporte del río Trapiche en la última semana para los niveles reflejados.
Tras haber alcanzado una cota máxima de un metro sobre nivel del coronamiento, el dique de Luján fue regulado mediante el uso de sus válvulas de alivio abiertas al 90%, quedando actualmente con un nivel de 0,3 metros bajo cota de coronamiento. A continuación, San Luis Agua muestra cómo varió ese dato a lo largo del mes de febrero de 2024 y cómo quedó marcado su abrupto aumento de nivel por las precipitaciones.
El dique ‘La Huertita’ tuvo grandes aportes durante las últimas precipitaciones en las cercanías de su cuenca, experimentando elevados aumentos en sus cotas de embalses y provocando grandes alivios desde el punto de vista de abastecimiento a productores de la zona. En el gráfico queda demostrado que sus niveles oscilaban entre los -11 metros bajo cota y luego subieron hasta el grado actual de -3.28 metros, lo cual representa aumentos significativos y de gran importancia en la regulación del agua.
Producto de las precipitaciones en la zona norte de la provincia de San Luis, el dique ‘Las Palmeras’, de gran importancia por su atractivo turístico, regulación fluvial y riego, tuvo una gran recarga de suma importancia para todas sus actividades. Si bien sus cotas nunca estuvieron sobre coronamiento, sí reviste gran importancia el hecho de haber estado en niveles cercanos a mínimos históricos, y poder recuperarse para quedar a tan solo 1.70 metros bajo coronamiento. Como muestra San Luis Agua, su aumento es de tipo exponencial.
