RECHAZAN LA IMPLEMENTACIÓN DE LA JORNADA ESCOLAR EXTENDIDA

El Sindicato de Docentes Privados (Sadop), emitió un comunicado de rechazo a la eventual implementación de la jornada escolar extendida en las escuelas primarias de gestión estatal que se impulsa desde Nación.

El comunicado de Sadop tiene varios puntos en los que se argumenta que la implementación de la jornada extendida perjudicaría a los docentes. El Comunicado dice textualmente:

1) Para llevarla a la práctica, debería modificarse el Estatuto Docente de la Provincia. Ya el Gobierno ha dejado

claro que, toda modificación que pretende realizar al Estatuto Docente, va en desmedro de nuestros derechos y no lo permitiremos de ninguna manera.

2) Se perdería la posibilidad de mantener dos cargos. La extensión de la jornada, nos pondría en situación de incompatibilidad, por la cantidad de horas que se acumularían.

3) De plantearse una excepción a la incompatibilidad, por superación de horas permitidas, la jornada laboral pasaría de 8 horas a 10 horas, un retroceso sin igual en la conquista de derechos laborales que se lograron a lo largo de la historia.

4) Cantidad no implica calidad. Está probado en otros países, que se ha logrado mejor calidad educativa, con menos carga horaria semanal.

5) El presupuesto que se pretende destinar para llevar adelante esta transformación, resulta como mínimo insuficiente, eso afectará directamente al salario que percibiríamos, no siendo proporcional al trabajo que nos pretenden incrementar.

¿En qué consiste la jornada escolar extendida?

El Consejo Federal de Educación emitió el 22 de junio, la resolución 426/22 que establece el compromiso de Nación, las provincias y CABA para la implementación de “todas las acciones necesarias para avanzar hacia la universalización de la jornada completa o extendida en las escuelas primarias, o bien a adoptar la modalidad de extensión horaria que las lleve a un mínimo de 25 horas semanales como estrategia escalonada hacia dicha universalización”.

La jornada escolar simple es de cuatro horas actualmente en las primarias. Se sumaría una hora extra por día para llegar al piso de 25 horas semanales. La extensión del horario será destinada “al fortalecimiento de la producción escrita, la comprensión lectora y la alfabetización matemática y científica”, según dice el artículo 2 de la resolución.

El artículo 3 de la resolución del Consejo Federal de Educación dice que Nación aportará el 80% “del financiamiento en la diferencia de los salarios brutos de docentes y equipos directivos que demande la implementación de la extensión horaria en las escuelas primarias de gestión estatal” durante cinco años.
