JOSÉ “PEPE” MUJICA SERÁ DISTINGUIDO Y DARÁ UNA CLASE MAGISTRAL EN LA UNSL
El viernes 21 de octubre a las 17:30, en el Auditorio Mauricio López, el líder político brindará una Clase Magistral, en el marco de la ceremonia de entrega del Doctorado Honoris Causa. El evento se transmitirá en vivo desde el canal de YouTube de UNSL TV.
En marzo de este año, el rector de la Universidad Nacional de San Luis (UNSL), C.P.N. Víctor Moriñigo, postuló al premio al ex Presidente de la República Oriental del Uruguay, e hizo entrega personalmente del documento. Mujica agradeció el ofrecimiento y especialmente el haberle solicitado su consentimiento, seguido a lo cual, le manifestó su acuerdo para recibir la distinción. El encuentro se llevó a cabo en la Chacra de «Pepe» en el vecino país.
Quienes deseen participar del evento que se realizará el día viernes 21 de octubre a las 17:30 horas en el Auditorio, deberán inscribirse previamente en el siguiente link.
Debido a la capacidad limitada del Auditorio, una vez completada, los/as interesados/as podrán presenciar la actividad a través de las pantallas que estarán distribuidas en el Hall Cultural.
La Universidad otorga el título de Doctor Honoris Causa o de Profesor Honorario a personas que se hayan destacado por sus méritos excepcionales o por especiales servicios a la Universidad en la enseñanza o en la investigación.
En el archivo de postulación, Moriñigo destacó que la figura internacional ha sido ejemplo de austeridad y sobriedad, que se manifiesta a diario a partir de su conciencia de que no debe ser el consumo el fin al que se orienten nuestras acciones y la certeza de que la solidaridad no solo posibilita mejorar la vida de la comunidad, sino que nos hace mejores personas. Afirmó además que el Dr. José Alberto Mujica Cordano es reconocido por su trayectoria, su valor como persona, coherencia y compromiso ético demostrado a lo largo de su vida política.
En el mes de mayo, luego de obtener el aval de las ocho (8) facultades y con la afirmativa de un total de 28 consejeros/as presentes, el Consejo Superior aprobó por unanimidad la propuesta expedida por el Rector. Es por ello, que la semana entrante la UNSL vivirá un momento histórico al homenajear presencialmente a José Alberto Mujica, por ser una persona destacada por sus méritos excepcionales.
