La Liga de los gobernadores cuestionó el fallo contra Cristina: «Uno de los agravios más grandes al sistema democrático». Los mandatarios peronistas aseguraron que la condena del Tribunal Federal Oral N°2 por la causa Obra Pública persigue fines políticos y «no es un hecho aislado».

Los mandatarios provinciales del peronismo, nucleados en la autodenominada «Liga de los gobernadores» respaldaron a la vicepresidenta Cristina Fernández de Kirchener luego de la sentencia dictada por el Tribunal Federal Oral N° 2 en la causa por la Obra Pública, a la que calificaron como «un show mediático y judicial».

«Ha ocurrido en nuestro país un hecho de extrema gravedad institucional, que quedará registrado en la historia como uno de los agravios más grandes al sistema democrático», señala el primer ítem de los diez detallados en un comunicado conjunto, y añade: «Todo este show mediático y judicial se dio además en un contexto de palmaria y escandalosa promiscuidad entre fiscales y jueces intervinientes que escandalizó a la opinión pública».

Tras la condena a seis años de cárcel y la inhabilitación de por vida para ejercer cargos públicos dictada por los magistrados Jorge Gorini, Rodrigo Giménez Uriburu y Andrés Basso, los jefes provinciales oficialistas aseguran que se trata de un hecho de persecución contra la vicepresidenta y denunciaron irregularidades y violaciones de garantías constitucionales en el proceso.

«Los fiscales y jueces actuantes en su afán de imputarla penalmente, le adjudicaron actos y funciones que son de exclusiva jurisdicción de otras áreas de gobierno y que le están vedadas expresamente por la constitución nacional, como los actos de administración general y el manejo de fondos públicos», argumentan en el documento compartido incluso en redes sociales.

Los 16 mandatarios que integran la liga y que sumaron su apoyo a la expresidenta son Axel Kicillof (Buenos Aires), Sergio Ziliotto (La Pampa), Gustavo Bordet (Entre Ríos), Ricardo Quintela (La Rioja), Raúl Jalil (Catamarca), Gerardo Zamora (Santiago del Estero), Sergio Uñac (San Juan), Osvaldo Jaldo (Tucumán), Oscar Herrera Ahuad (Misiones), Alberto Rodríguez Saá (San Luis), Gustavo Sáenz (Salta), Gildo Insfrán (Formosa), Jorge Capitanich (Chaco), Mariano Arcioni (Chubut), Gustavo Melella (Tierra del Fuego) y Alicia Kirchner (Santa Cruz).

En otro pasaje del comunicado, se detalla: «Durante este burdo proceso judicial, se omitió deliberadamente analizar pruebas documentales y periciales relevantes que demostraban la absoluta regularidad de las obras investigadas».

Asimismo, consideran que los alegatos del juicio les permitieron «conocer de primera mano las afrentas al debido proceso que sufrió la vicepresidenta y la imposibilidad de los fiscales de sostener sus agravios y acusaciones».

«Esta absurda condena con fines políticos no es un hecho aislado, sino que forma parte de una operación de poderes económicos que se reprodujo recientemente en Sudamérica con otros líderes populares y que luego de disparatadas condenas, y al paso del tiempo, volvieron a ser legitimados por sus pueblos regresando al poder», subrayaron.

En el mismo sentido, amplían: «La inhabilitación para ejercer cargos públicos dictada hoy es el nuevo ropaje jurídico en la histórica proscripción que sufrió el peronismo toda vez que fue derrocado del poder por la fuerza, tal como aconteció en 1955 con la revolución libertadora y en 1976 con la última dictadura cívico militar que tuvo como saldo la muerte y desaparición de 30 mil argentinos».

El último punto acordado por los gobernadores resalta el apoyo a la exmandataria: «El enorme respaldo popular y prestigio del que goza nuestra vicepresidenta como líder y conductora del espacio político mayoritario de la Argentina es la garantía que impedirá que grupos minoritarios, violentos y antidemocráticos puedan poner en riesgo el Estado de derecho que tanto nos costó conseguir a los argentinos».
