Una mujer de 52 años, identificada como Beatriz Chávez, falleció este martes por la tarde luego de ser embestida por una motocicleta, frente a la plaza Lafinur de Villa Mercedes.

La víctima fatal había llegado hasta el lugar en un auto con su pareja. El vehículo quedó estacionado en la esquina de Ayacucho y Balcarce. La mujer descendió para ir a un centro de rehabilitación de la zona y, al cruzar la calle, fue atropellada.

En la moto, una Zanella de 200 centímetros cúbicos, viajaban dos personas. El conductor también sufrió graves lesiones.

Una ambulancia del Sempro trasladó a los heridos al hospital Juan Domingo Perón de esa ciudad, donde se confirmó, horas más tarde, la muerte de la mujer. El motociclista, en tanto, sufrió politraumatismos y continúa internado.
