Carne a precios populares: la odisea de conseguirla
La iniciativa del gobierno tendría escasa repercusión a la hora de bajar los precios
Comprar 1kg de asado en Argentina se ha vuelto un lujo al que cada vez menos personas pueden acceder. Y eso por contar solo los cortes populares, porque si uno quiere comer algo un poquito fuera de la norma, como ser lomo u ojo de bife, los precios superan los $1000 x Kg. Algo que el bolsillo de la mayoría no puede costear.
En este marco, desde el gobierno nacional se impulsó una campaña para vender el popular asado a la mitad de precio que hoy se paga en una carnicería cualquiera, pero la medida tiene algunas características que sería útil conocer en detalle, al menos para no hacerse falsas ilusiones.
Como parte de un acuerdo con la industria frigorífica y los supermercados, lo que busca el gobierno es ofrecer 8 cortes de carne a los consumidores a precios hasta 30% más bajos que los actuales, pero si bien no se busca bajar la inflación, al menos que impacte lo menos posible en el bolsillo de los argentinos. El consumo de carne viene bajando mes a mes como producto de su elevado costo, y eso es algo que preocupa a todos, ya que sigue siendo el principal alimento de nuestra dieta.
Ahora bien, la medida impulsada por el gobierno nacional, además de tener poco impacto en la inflación, también lo va a tener en relación a los consumidores, ya que sólo se van a ofrecer estos cortes en 1600 puntos del país algunos días a la semana, con lo cual, conseguir la carne al precio promocionado va a ser una verdadera odisea, en donde quien la consiga la va a defender a capa y espada, como si fuera la copa del mundo. Para la industria cárnica, está medida va directo al fracaso.
Como para tener una idea, los volúmenes que se manejarían son tan bajos que apenas impactarían en la demanda. El acuerdo es entregar 6.000 toneladas mensuales bajo este programa lo que representa un 3% del total consumido mensualmente. Cual escenario post apocalíptico vamos a estar peleando por una tira de asado.
Asimismo, la oferta sería los tres primeros miércoles de cada mes y los fines de semana, con lo cual va a estar muy acotado, incluso en su extensión, así que vamos a ver si por San Luis pasa alguno de los cortes y tenemos suerte de pagarlo menos de lo que se está pagando actualmente. El acuerdo comenzaría a regir a partir del 3 de febrero en carnicerías del Mercado Central, Coto, Jumbo, Plaza Vea, Disco, Carrefour, Walmart, La Anónima, Dia% y Libertad, y seguirá hasta el 31 de marzo, donde se revisará los términos del acuerdo.
Los cortes alcanzados y precios por kilo son los siguientes: asado de tira $399; vacío $499; matambre $549; tapa de asado $429; cuadrada o bola de lomo $489; carnaza $359; falda y roastbeef $399. A esos ocho cortes se le suman la carne picada, que se vende a $265 por kilo, y el espinazo, a $110, ambos presentes en el programa Precios Cuidados, lo que totaliza 10 cortes de carnes a precios accesibles.
