Después del anuncio del gobierno las empresas tienen que ajustar sus programas a la nueva decisión

Ayer martes el gobierno anunció la reducción de vuelos internacionales para todas las aerolíneas, el cual comenzará a regir desde el 1° de febrero. La mayoría de los destinos turísticos más importantes como México, Europa o EE.UU. verán una reducción del 30% de los vuelos, mientras que a Brasil la reducción afectaría al 50% de los mismos.

Las empresas están trabajando a contrarreloj para cumplir con la normativa, y están dando todos los pasos técnicos para llegar como corresponde a la fecha estipulada. Esto es algo que podía preverse ya que la mayoría de las aerolíneas en el mundo venían bajando la frecuencia de sus servicios debido a los rebrotes del coronavirus en distintos países, sobre todo en Europa y EE.UU.

Los pasajeros que ya tienen vuelos reservados podrán reprogramar los servicios sin costo alguno, siempre y cuando sea sólo el cambio de fecha, pero si se quiere cambiar el destino eso sí tiene un costo. Estos cambios afectan al sector turístico, que no tuvo un buen año en ninguna parte del mundo y fue uno de los que más empleos perdió, pasando de ser una industria pujante a una industria en ruinas.

Desde American Airlines comunicaron que para cumplir con los requerimientos del gobierno “a partir del 1° de febrero estaremos reduciendo nuestra operación en Buenos Aires (EZE), que actualmente incluye servicio diario a Miami (MIA) y a Dallas/Fort Worth (DFW)”. Aún no se sabe cuales serán los vuelos que recorte Aerolíneas pero es de esperar que sufra lo mismo que el resto de sus competidores, aunque con la ventaja de que sus pérdidas se verán reducidas, ya que tiene la exclusividad en el flete de las vacunas que se traen de Rusia, y es la que quizás puede aguantar mejor la crisis que ya se avizora en el horizonte.
