Después de un día de furia, que se vivió en la municipalidad de Merlo, con una discusión subida de tono, entre el Ministro de Seguridad de la Provincia de San Luis, y el Intendente de la Villa de Merlo , donde cada uno tuvo el tiempo para pasar sus reclamos, entre los cuales el ministro pidió el cortado de los pastos para mantener la seguridad de la Villa, un pedido un poco cómico, cuando sabemos que la inseguridad en la provincia no es una sensación, y que faltan diversas mejorarías para las fuerzas, como equipamiento y mejoras en los salarios de los agentes.
Pero lo que nos llamo la atención positivamente, fue la eficiencia y velocidad con la que el intendente Juan Álvarez Pinto, salió a cortar el pasto y colocar las luminarias solicitadas, algo que además, suele hacerse siempre, pero que ahora adquiere otro significado. Nos preguntamos el ministro abra puesto en marcha con la misma eficiencia los pedidos del intendente. Esperemos que si, porque seria un gran beneficio para los merlinos y los turistas, que eligen como principal destino dentro de la provincia a la Villa de Merlo.
