River debuta por Copa Argentina
El Millonario se medirá esta noche ante Defensores de Pronunciamiento por la Primera Ronda del certamen. Ambos equipos ya confirmaron formaciones.
La noche de hoy será única para Pronunciamiento: un pequeño pueblo de 3000 habitantes, a 40 kilómetros de Concepción del Uruguay. El equipo entrerriano pondrá su sueño a prueba durante 90 minutos frente al Millonario.
Por un lado, tendremos a un River que busca dejar atrás el sabor amargo que le dejaron las semifinales de Libertadores. Gallardo busca arrancar la temporada con el pie derecho y parará un once lleno de estrellas. Por otro, el «Depro» intentará dar el batacazo embanderando la ilusión de todo un pueblo.
Defensores de Pronunciamiento fue fundado en 1972 y desde entonces ha surcado las aguas del ascenso profundo. La última temporada disputó las eliminatorias del Federal A, aunque fue eliminado por Douglas Haig. En esa competición acumuló 9 victorias, 9 empates y 9 derrotas. En 2016 disputó una llave del Federal A contra Talleres de Córdoba: perdió la vuelta en Córdoba por 3 a 2.
Además, los orígenes de este club son de lo mas humildes: el plantel divide su vida entre el verde césped y la vida laboral. Como el fútbol no les genera muchos ingresos, los jugadores del «Depro» son algunos de los trabajadores que podes encontrar en el día a día entrerriano. Incluso le pidieron a River que después del partido le regalen las camisetas, y el club de Núñez accedió.
El partido se jugará en cancha de Banfield, a las 21:10 hs y será televisado por TyC Sports.
