Control de precios e inflación
El gobierno creó un organismo para fiscalizar a los supermercados de todo el país
El descontrol inflacionario en un año electoral no suele sumarle a ningún oficialismo. El ejecutivo nacional está tan preocupado por no poder contener el alza de precios en los alimentos que no le bastó con convocar a sindicatos y piqueteros, sino que ahora agrega un organismo más para “cuidar” la mesa de los argentinos.
Hoy jueves, se conoció, a partir de la publicación en el Boletín Oficial, que el Ministerio de Desarrollo Productivo creó un nuevo organismo: El Consejo Federal de Comercio Interior (COFECI), una especie de policía de los precios para reforzar las fiscalizaciones en todo el territorio nacional.
El estado se sigue agrandando, pero convoca a organizaciones sindicales y piqueteras para que lo ayuden en el estado. En ocasiones no se entienden muy bien, o son poco claras, las políticas públicas que se implementan. O controla el estado o terceriza su control, pero estas cuestiones que se lanzan parecen más bien aprietes que una política seria.
Demás está decir que una política de precios no puede sostenerse sólo con el control, y el gobierno viene dando señales equívocas. Por un lado, pretende que la inflación no crezca, pero permite aumentos de combustible, casi 5 en un mes, lo que repercute directamente en los costos de distribución y por ende en los precios de góndola.
El COFECI tendrá competencias en materia de precios, abastecimiento, lealtad comercial, competencia desleal, publicidad, metrología legal y sus respectivas fiscalizaciones. Aunque ya existían organismos que se ocupaban de algunas de estas áreas. La falta de previsión, y el correr detrás de la zanahoria parecieran ser los ejes de un gobierno que hace rato perdió el rumbo.
De acuerdo con el texto oficial, las funciones del Cofeci son las siguientes:
– Concertar políticas entre las jurisdicciones nacionales y locales en materia de precios, abastecimiento, lealtad comercial, competencia desleal, publicidad, metrología legal y sus respectivas fiscalizaciones
– Acercarse a la homogeneización de criterios en cuanto a la aplicación de políticas públicas relacionadas con el comercio interior, incluyendo propuestas de “modificación o armonización” de la normativa vigente en la materia.
– Intercambiar información con los sectores productivos a fin de favorecer la mayor eficiencia en la producción y comercialización de los bienes y servicios.
– Recabar información de entidades públicas y privadas relacionadas con el comercio interior;
– Promover el intercambio de información, experiencias, consultas y la colaboración para la realización de acciones en materia de regulación, fiscalización y control en materia de comercio interior.
Desde el sector supermercadista se mira con recelo está nueva propuesta, y se la enmarca dentro de las políticas de apriete que el gobierno tiene con los supermercados. Por ahora están a la expectativa, tratando de ver como se aplicará, y quienes serán los encargados de la fiscalización en el terreno, pero como viene la mano es probable que la inflación siga creciendo, si lo que se ofrece sigue siendo humo.
