Arribaron a Merlo 600 dosis de la vacuna Sputnik V

El cargamento llegó al Hospital Madre Catalina Rodríguez en la mañana del martes.

La vacuna rusa es la de mayor disponibilidad en el país. Créditos: EFE.

Ayer por la mañana Natalia Jerez, directora del nosocomio, y Alejandra Casín, jefa del servicio de Enfermería, recibieron el cargamento con 600 dosis del antídoto. Es el primer lote grande de vacunas para la Villa de Merlo, que había recibido una pequeña cantidad desde que Sputnik V llegó al país en diciembre pasado.

Desde el Hospital afirmaron que este lote será usado para vacunar al personal de salud restante. También incluirá a los primeros adultos mayores.

La noticia se enmarca en un contexto donde empiezan a arribar nuevas vacunas a Argentina. Desde el Gobierno confirmaron que ya circulan en nuestro país 1.220.000 dosis de Sputnik V. Además, llegaron al país las primeras 580.000 dosis de la vacuna Covishield india, desarrollada por Oxford y los laboratorios AstraZeneca.
