Femicidio en Córdoba: Ivana Módica fue hallada sin vida
La mujer de 47 años estaba desaparecida desde el 11 de febrero. Su ex pareja, Javier Galván, confesó el asesinato y reveló el paradero de la víctima.
Luego de 8 días de misterio Ivana Módica fue encontrada por la policía en las cercanías del Camino al Cuadrado en Córdoba. Galván, el femicida, se declaró culpable del crimen y se acercó al lugar para mostrar el cuerpo a las autoridades.
Nuestro país llora hoy una nueva víctima de la violencia de género: 8 días de angustia revestida por la incertidumbre. En la noche del 11 de febrero, Ivana discutió con su ex pareja, Javier Galván, y nunca más vio la luz. Hubieron operativos en La Falda, La Banderita y el camino a Pampa de Olaen. Sin embargo el cadaver permaneció oculto en el km 11 del camino que une Sierras Chicas con el Valle de Punilla.
No era la primera vez que tenía problemas con Galván: el femicida ya había sido denunciado y tenía una orden de alejamiento hacia Ivana. Tras ser interrogado, las contradicciones en las declaraciones de Galván fueron lo que levantó las sospechas.
El abogado del asesino, Felipe Jure, afirmó creer en la inocencia de su cliente. Incluso denunció que la violencia se ejercía de forma inversa. El jurista alegó: “En realidad es al revés, hay una grabación que tenemos que él nos envió antes de que ocurra todo esto y que vamos a ofrecer al expediente. Es una grabación importante porque ahora se está tirando la línea de una violencia de él hacia ella cuando en realidad es a la inversa”.
En la mañana del 12 de febrero Galván se acercó a denunciar la desaparición de Ivana y declaró desconocer el paradero de la víctima. El imputado había manifestado a la policía que era probable que la mujer hubiera salido a caminar por la zona del cerro La Banderita, en La Falda. En consecuencia se montó un operativo de búsqueda con personal de Bomberos, de la Policía, de Defensa Civil y de otros organismos, tanto por vía terrestre con perros, como por vía aérea con drones y un helicóptero.
Tras hallar el cuerpo las autoridades se dirigieron a la morgue judicial de Córdoba para poder determinar las causas y la fecha de muerte de la víctima.
