La provincia recibió más dosis de la vacuna Sinopharm
Se trata de 5400 dosis del antídoto chino. Se aplicará a personal docente menor a 60 años, personas trasplantadas y menores de 60 años con patologías de base.
Un nuevo lote de vacunas llegó a la provincia, esta vez de origen chino. 5400 fueron las dosis de Sinopharm que arribaron a San Luis. El rango etario de vacunación será entre 18 y 59 años esta vez. María Esther Diangelo, jefa de Inmunizaciones, explicó que este lote será usado como primer dosis.
“Esta vacuna, podrá ser aplicada en personas de 18 a 59 años. Por el momento, mayores de 60 años no van a recibir esta vacuna, esto no quiere decir que en los próximos días, nuevos estudios científicos determinen la eficacia de la misma en este rango etario”, detalló Diangelo.
Se espera otro arribo en menos de 21 días para completar la vacunación, que comprende dos fases. La profesional comentó que la segunda dosis se aplica entre 21 y 28 días después de la primera. Sin embargo, advirtió: “ No significa que tiene que ser específicamente entre esos días y si se aplica después de esas fechas la vacuna también será efectiva, ya que con la primera dosis la persona genera un nivel de anticuerpos importantes”.
Respecto a la conservación del fármaco Diangelo explicó que deben conservarse entre 2°C y 8°C, de igual manera que las Covishield indias. Se espera su distribución a diferentes puntos de la provincia en estos días.
