Las 2.250 vacunas de la Sputnik V que llegaron corresponderían a la primera dosis, y se espera para el martes una tanda de la segunda dosis

La provincia continua firme con el plan de vacunación de las personas de riesgo y del personal esencial en el marco del Plan Provincial de Vacunación, dónde ya se vacuna a gran parte de la población de adultos mayores, residentes en geriátricos y personal esencial.

Con la llegada de estas nuevas partidas se planea continuar con los objetivos propuestos tal como detalló José Nuñez, director del hospital central de la ciudad de San Luis para la Agencia de Noticias San Luis: “El plan viene muy bien, durante la semana, incluso ayer sábado, estuvimos vacunando a menores de 60 años, docentes y personas con diferentes tipos de antecedentes como trasplantados u obesos, que son los que tienen el mayor índice de mortalidad en contagio por COVID”.

Con la llegada, el martes próximo, se planea culminar con la vacunación de quienes recibieron la primera dosis, y además, seguir ampliando el espectro para cubrir la mayor cantidad de personas de riesgo y esenciales durante todo el mes. Asimismo, la provincia continua con los testeos de detección temprana de casos para evitar que la epidemia se propague y mantener a la provincia con baja cantidad de casos como viene sucediendo hasta el presente.
