Con casos en aumento los especialistas de los ministerios de salud de nación, provincia de Buenos Aires y CABA están en estado de alerta

Hay una tendencia que empezó a cambiar a medida que se aleja el verano y se acerca el otoño, y es que los casos de covid19, como los de cualquier enfermedad respiratoria, dejaron de descender y empezaron a subir lentamente. De hecho, los ministerios de salud de la nación, la provincia de Buenos Aires y la CABA, destacaron que si bien por ahora no es preocupante, si hay que mirar con atención que la curva de casos aumenta poco a poco, incluso hablan de un amesetamiento más alto.

En declaraciones a Radio Continental, el jefe de Gabinete de Asesores del Ministerio de Salud de la Provincia de Buenos Aires, Enio García, dijo: “los casos suben muy rápido y bajan muy despacio. Puede ser que estemos en el inicio de la segunda ola”.

Por su parte, la ocupación de camas de terapia intensiva, que fue un tema central durante toda la pandemia, y la excusa para la cuarentena, en función de no colapsar el sistema, hoy se encuentra estable, tal como señalo en el día de ayer el diario Infobae.com, por lo que por ahora no es una preocupación el colapso del sistema sanitario en su conjunto. No obstante, las autoridades están alertas y siguiendo atentamente la curva de casos, de hecho, en CABA, el ministro Quirós señalo que tenemos “un escenario de una segunda ola, que al día de hoy está muy cerca”, por lo que hay que estar atentos y no debe agarrarnos desprevenidos.

Lo cierto, es que todos los años las enfermedades respiratorias empiezan a recrudecer entre los meses de junio y agosto, y este año no debería ser la excepción, teniendo en cuenta que el coronavirus ha reemplazado a otras enfermedades respiratorias, y es hoy el foco de la preocupación oficial. Cuáles serán las decisiones en materia sanitaria para paliar la segunda ola que probablemente sobrevendrá aún no están claras, aunque todo hace pensar que un segundo encierro no es algo que pueda darse de manera tan taxativa como lo fue en 2020, no sólo por la crisis económica que acucia a gran parte de la sociedad, sino por el cansancio y stress que por la misma ha padecido gran parte de la población.
