La situación del país trasandino es preocupante. Las cifras de contagios y muertos son record.

Más de un millón de casos, 7.830 casos nuevos, y 193 fallecidos en las últimas 24 horas. La preocupación en Chile va in crescendo: por eso la gestión de Sebastián Piñera cerró las fronteras del país por 30 días.

Asimismo, restringieron los viajes al extranjero para los chilenos y extranjeros residentes en el país, y prohibieron la entrada de extranjeros no residentes.

La medida fue comunicada hoy por Katherine Martorell, subsecretaria de Prevención del Delito chilena. Sin embargo, recién el próximo lunes se hace efectiva en todo el país.

Enrique París, Ministro de Salud chileno, afirmó: “Estamos viviendo momentos muy complejos de la pandemia en Chile”. El comentario se enmarca dentro de la crisis sanitaria vivida en el país: la campaña de vacunación no ha significado aún una baja en los contagios, cada vez más numerosos.

Otra de las medidas dispuestas es el toque de queda, que ya corre a partir de las 21:00 en todo Chile.

Solo podrán salir del país quienes no vuelvan, o quienes se ocupen de medidas humanitarias. En cambio, el ingreso estará prohibido a todo el mundo, a excepción de residentes y gente proveniente de países sin contagio comunitario.
