El profesor de básquet acusado de abusar de una niña de 6 años pidió declarar
Víctor Figueroa solicitó prestar testimonio en la causa. Podría pasar entre 8 y 20 años en prisión.
Hace unos 10 días, la familia de la pequeña se movilizó frente al Poder Judicial. El pedido era contundente: que aparezca Víctor Figueroa.
Finalmente el defensor del acusado, Matías Farinazzo Tempestini, confirmó que el entrenador de básquet pidió declarar en la causa. Actualmente Figueroa está imputado por «Abuso sexual gravemente ultrajante, calificado por ser encargado de la guarda o educación».
Desde la defensa afirman que solicitaron testigos e informes al club donde trabajaba el acusado. Una vez que lleguen los documentos será fijada la fecha de audiencia. No obstante, Figueroa ya había sido citado a declarar el pasado 12 de abril, y se abstuvo. Previamente ya había sido convocado a declarar tres veces.
El lunes 12 de abril el juez de Instrucción Penal 1 de Villa Mercedes, Alfredo Cuello, citó a indagatoria al profesor de básquet y lo indagó esa misma siesta. El hombre se abstuvo de declarar. La escala penal para el delito por el que está imputado el entrenador es de 8 a 20 años de prisión. Farinazzo Tempestini comentó que han solicitado informes al club y testimoniales.
La causa
Las sospechas comenzaron cuando la niña de 6 años confesó a su madre que no quería seguir yendo a sus clases en la Sociedad Italiana de Villa Mercedes. La pequeña confesó que su profesor la tocaba, la besaba y la amenazaba para que guarde silencio.
El padre de la víctima manifestó que su hija ya pasó por Cámara Gesell. Asimismo, se le realizó una inspección ocular en el presunto lugar de los abusos. “Todo coincidió ciento por ciento con lo que declaró mi nena”, dijo. Incluso expresó que Figueroa ya contaba con cuatro denuncias previas por abuso.
La pequeña describió una serie de manoseos, besos que le dio su profesor y los pedidos permanentes que le hacía para que no fuera a entrenar con calzas o pantalones, sino que siempre usara pollera. Para la psicóloga encargada, la narración de la víctima es creíble y presenta patrones acordes con los de una víctima de un delito contra la integridad sexual.
