El gobierno anunció una prorroga en el cruce de fronteras y renovó por 30 días las residencias temporales de extranjeros.

Hasta el 11 de junio se podrá cruzar la frontera.


Este sábado el Gobierno Nacional postergó el cierre de fronteras hasta el 11 de junio próximo y renovó por 30 días las residencias temporales de extranjeros. Simultáneamente, dentro del interior del país comenzaron a regir las disposiciones para evitar una mayor propagación del virus.

Pese a la prorroga, desde Casa Rosada mantuvieron «la suspensión de las autorizaciones y permisos» dispuestos en vuelos directos como origen o destino el Reino Unido de Gran Bretaña del Norte y como origen Brasil, Chile, México e India.

Asimismo, el decreto emitido en el Boletín Oficial establece que el Ministerio de Salud «determinará los puntos de entrada al país, trayectos y lugares, que reúnan las mejores capacidades básicas para responder a la emergencia sanitaria declarada internacionalmente de COVID-19».

La Dirección Nacional de Migraciones podrá autorizar el ingreso de personas a territorio nacional solo cuando haya razones especiales o humanitarias que lo ameriten. En este proceso de selección participará el Ministerio de Relaciones Exteriores y Culto.

Quienes estén transitoriamente en el país podrán quedarse por 30 días más gracias a la renovación de sus residencias: eso incluye visados y permisos de ingreso consulares.

Los riesgos a la hora de admitir tránsito internacional son las nuevas variantes de Covid-19, de mayor transmisibilidad y gravedad. En este sentido, detectaron que en el país hubo un aumento de los casos y el descubrimiento de las nuevas cepas se asocia a viajeros o contactos estrechos con gente que estuvo fuera del país.
