Mecanismo Covax: la OMS envió nuevas vacunas al país

El país recibió un nuevo cargamento de vacunas, que se enmarca en el mecanismo de solidaridad de asignación de inoculaciones.

Hace un par de horas llegó un vuelo de la compañía KLM, proveniente de Amsterdam. En el vinieron 204.000 nuevas vacunas contra el Coronavirus. Se trata de vacunas de AstraZeneca.

El envío forma parte del contrato que Argentina firmó con la OMS: el mecanismo Covax designó para nuestro país un total de 22.4 millones de dosis. En este sentido, mañana por la tarde llegará un nuevo avión proveniente de Estados Unidos, con otras 843.000 inoculaciones de AstraZeneca.

El vuelo KL701 tocó tierra a las 6:14 de este domingo. Horas antes, un vuelo de Aerolíneas Argentinas partió hacia Moscú para buscar un cargamento de Sputnik V: el regreso estaría previsto para la tarde del lunes.
