Brutal doble femicidio en Mar del Plata

Un joven de 23 años apuñaló a su madre y su hermano en la ciudad costera. Tras matarlas, el responsable se presentó en una comisaría y confesó el doble crimen.

Matías Nahuel Paz, un joven marplatense de 23 años, asesinó a puñaladas a su madre de 45 años y a su hermana de 9. Tras el crimen, Paz se entregó a la policía.

El crimen ocurrió en la casa familiar de Triunvirato al 800, en el barrio Villa Lourdes. Los cuerpos fueron hallados por los Bomberos, que acudieron a la escena porque reportaron un principio de incendio en la cocina de ese domicilio. Sospechan que Paz inició el fuego para borrar rastros, aunque el foco no creció como esperaba.

La mujer asesinada fue identificada como Laura Verónica Sánchez. En esa casa vivían el asesino, las mujeres asesinadas, la pareja de Sánchez y su hijo. Así lo confirmó Leandro Arévalo, titular de la Unidad Funcional de Instrucción 7.

Los primeros peritajes forenses encontraron lesiones visibles de arma blanca en las víctimas. Asimismo, encontraron prendas de vestir y un cuchillo con manchas de sangre, que podría ser compatible con el asesinato.

La investigación reveló que la pareja de Sánchez y su hijo habían salido a hacer compras por la mañana. En ese momento Matías Nahuel Paz perpetró el asesinato de su familia y huyó. Cuando el hombre y su hijo volvían vieron que salía humo de la vivienda y llamaron a los bomberos. Al ingresar a la casa encontraron el horror.

Tras ver los cuerpos, la Policía identificó a Paz como primer sospechoso y ordenó su busqueda inmediata. Sin embargo, minutos después de las 14:00 el mismo asesino se presentó en la Comisaría 1ra. de Mar del Plata.

El sospechoso ingresó a la guardia de la seccional y pidió a los gritos ser atendido por el responsable de la dependencia, y luego dijo llorando que era el autor de ambos crímenes.

Desde la policía apuntaron que Matías Nahuel Paz presentó un corte en la mano derecha y manchas de sangre. Fue detenido y quedó a disposición del fiscal: lo imputaron por «doble homicidio agravado».

También encontraron que el joven ya tenía antecedentes por «portación ilegal de arma de uso civil, encubrimiento y violencia familiar», por lo que fue trasladado a la Unidad Penal 44 de Batán.
