En Merlo darán ayudarán económicamente a profesionales de la actividad física
El municipio creó un fondo de emergencia para apoyar a los profesionales de este sector vulnerados laboralmente por la pandemia.
En un esfuerzo por consolidarse como polo deportivo provincial, el ejecutivo merlino apoyó la creación de una ayuda económica a profesionales de la actividad física. En este sentido, el Ente Mixto de Promoción y Desarrollo del Deporte -PRODEPOR- diseñó un fondo de emergencia para dichos profesionales, cuya actividad está resentida por la pandemia.
El fondo fue creado con los aportes municipales de los vecinos de la villa. Será un fondo acumulativo, que brindará ayuda de forma mensual hasta septiembre de este año.
El objetivo de la iniciativa es ayudar a los profesionales a pagar sus impuestos, alquileres o servicios.
El PRODEPOR es un ente mixto, dedicado a la promoción de la actividad física. A su cargo está el Secretario de Deportes, Recreación y Hábitos Saludables, Sergio Romero.
Ayer por la mañana hicieron entrega de las primeras ayudas a algunos beneficiarios. Del evento participó el mismo Romero, el Intendente merlino, Juan Álvarez Pinto, y el Secretario de Gobierno, Francisco Oviedo.
