En la ciudad de La Banda, un efectivo atacó a su pareja con una pistola calibre 9 milímetros. La hija de ambos fue quién llamó a las autoridades.

Un Policía de Santiago del Estero asesinó a balazos a su mujer. Luego del crimen, se quitó la vida con su arma reglamentaria, según informan las fuentes policiales.

El episodio tuvo lugar en barrio Las Moras de la ciudad de La Banda, lindera a la capital provincial. La víctima fue identificada como María José Fernández, de 36 años.

Su asesino era efectivo de la fuerza provincial, y fue identificado como Aldo Ibáñez, de 38 años. Ibáñez se encerró en una habitación con su pareja y la atacó con su arma reglamentaria: tras matarla se suicidó. Una de las hijas que tenían en común fue quien llamó a las autoridades.

Según trascendió, la menor escuchó los disparos y preocupada empezó a buscar ayuda. Cuando las fuerzas de seguridad llegaron, encontraron los dos cuerpos sin vida en una habitación cerrada con llave.

Todavía se desconoce si existían antecedentes de violencia de género en la pareja. La causa quedó a cargo de la fiscal Natalia Saavedra, junto a peritos de Criminalística y detectives de la División de Homicidios y Delitos Complejos. El objetivo de las pesquisas es levantar rastros útiles.
