Preocupación en San Luis: hay una nena de 2 años con un caso grave de Coronavirus

Se trata de una pequeña oriunda de Candelaria. Está en Terapia Intensiva con asistencia respiratoria mecánica.

La niña ingresó el domingo con un cuadro severo: fiebre y falta de aire.

La preocupación en el Hospital de San Luis tiene como sujeto a una pequeña de solo dos años, que contrajo Covid-19 y está en muy mal estado. La pequeña ingresó el domingo con un cuadro muy grave.

Ese mismo día llegó desde su Candelaria natal con fiebre y falta de aire, según informó el director del nosocomio. Inmediatamente fue trasladada al sector de Terapia Intensiva Pediátrica.

Al momento de analizarla dio positivo para Covid-19: encontraron que era contacto estrecho de sus padres, también contagiados. La madre de la niña también está internada en el área de Clínica Médica para adultos.

Como el cuadro empeoró, ayer por la tarde la intubaron a un respirador. Para José Núñez, director del Hospital San Luis, el pronóstico es reservado. Las complicaciones tendrían relación con algunas patologías de base que tenía la niña: le detectaron un trastorno degenerativo del desarrollo y un cuadro de convulsiones febriles.
