Desde 2003 estaba prófugo por matar a un policía. Escapó de todos, menos del Covid-19.

Alejandro Salaverry: el más buscado.

Parece mentira, pero es real. Uno de los prófugos más buscados del país cayó porque se anotó para vacunarse. Durante 18 años escapó de todos, aunque no pudo ganarle a la pandemia.

Los operativos para atrapar a Alejandro Salaverry fueron dignos de una película: la escena contó con policías disfrazados de enfermeros y otros camuflados entre los que debían vacunarse. Mientras tanto, la fuerza policial se encargó de rodear el edificio para evitar que el ex policía escape.

El hombre tenía cita para inocularse en el Museo MAR de Mar del Plata. Salaverry se había anotado de forma voluntaria tiempo atrás. Lo dejaron vacunarse y lo capturaron.

Largo historial

Salaverry enfrentaba cargos desde 2003, cuando asesinó a un cabo de la DDI de Mar del Plata. En aquel momento fue condenado en ausencia, y como no lo capturaron el cumplimiento en prisión prescribió. Salaverry era policía cuando asesinó a su camarada Cristian Agusti.

Luego, en 2018, fue acusado de tentativa de homicidio y lesiones tras atacar con un machete a un vecino de Morón. Ese episodio lo volvió a colocar en el radar de búsqueda de la policía, y 3 años después fue capturado.
