Se disparó a si mismo por accidente y murió

El trágico episodio ocurrió en el Paraje Santa Eugenia, a minutos de Renca. El arma se accionó por error cuando el fallecido ensillaba su caballo.

Trágico final para Teodoro Olguín, un baqueano del Paraje Santa Eugenia: cerca de las 9:30 del domingo, el hombre estaba alistando su caballo para arrear su rebaño hasta el Dique San Felipe, cuando su arma se disparó por accidente.

Alertada por el disparo, la esposa de Olguín salió de la casa a ver que ocurría cuando vio al hombre agarrándose el estómago. Tras caminar unos pasos Olguín cayó al piso, rendido ante el dolor de la descarga. Según indico la mujer, la hija y el yerno del baqueano intentaron ayudarlo inmediatamente. Sin embargo, cuando intentaron subirlo al auto el hombre se desvaneció.

La ambulancia llegó de Tilisarao minutos más tarde: al llegar Olguín ya había muerto, por lo que el personal de salud solamente constató la hora del deceso.

Aunque la causa será investigada por efectivos de la Policía de Paso Grande, creen que el baqueano recibió el disparo al momento de ensillar su caballo. La esposa del difunto sostuvo que este solía llevar un revolver calibre 22 en su cintura: cuando quiso colocarla en su funda el arma se disparó y perforó su abdomen.
