Detuvieron a un joven prófugo por balear a un taxista
Damián Suarez fue detenido ayer, tras ser sorprendido de casualidad por policías de civil. Inmediatamente se desató una persecución en la ciudad de San Luis.
Damián Suarez, un joven de 24 años, poseía pedido de captura tras balear a un taxista en el barrio Eva Perón. Su detención se produjo ayer al mediodía en el Parque Industrial Norte de la capital, cuando fue divisado por efectivos vestidos de civil. Los policías relataron que lo encontraron de casualidad a bordo de un Renault 9, en una estación de servicio de la Avenida José Santos Ortiz.
“Frente a la estación de servicio nos aproximamos al vehículo, que transitaba en sentido oeste. Se negó a frenar la marcha, por lo que comenzó una persecución hasta la Calle 1 del Parque Industrial Norte, donde este masculino se tiró directamente del auto y comenzó a correr”, contó el jefe de Investigaciones, Omar Talquenca. Tras dar con el prófugo se desató una persecución, que luego siguió a pie.
Tras tirarse del vehículo Suarez corrió unos 600 metros hasta que se escondió en el predio de una fábrica. Tras saltar varios cercos perimetrales, los efectivos detuvieron al delincuente a la altura de la empresa Gargano.
El pedido de captura hacia Suarez llevaba varios meses, luego de protagonizar un asalto a un taxista en el barrio Eva Perón.
