Prisión para Williams Castro tras golpear a su pareja embarazada

Lo procesaron por “Lesiones leves calificadas por el vínculo y por mediar violencia de género”, luego de golpear a su pareja y escapar a San Juan, donde fue detenido. Aunque convivían hace poco tiempo, Castro ejercía violencias de manera constante.

El pasado 27 de agosto Rodrigo Williams Castro, un joven de 23 años, despertó a los golpes a su pareja tras levantarse para ir a trabajar: lo hizo sin mediar palabras, según contó la víctima de 20 años. La mujer, que cursa un embarazo de tres meses, debió ser hospitalizada en el Hospital Materno Infantil «Doctora Teresita Baigorria».

Tras el violento episodio, Castro se fugó del domicilio que compartían hace 3 meses en la zona oeste de la ciudad. La víctima prestó declaraciones a la Policía y finalmente pudieron detenerlo el 1 de septiembre en la localidad sanjuanina de Pocitos, donde se escondía en casa de familiares. En aquel momento, Castro fue trasladado por personal de la Unidad Regional de Órden Público 1 -UROP 1-, por pedido del juez Marcos Flores Leyes.

Ayer procesaron al agresor, y le dictaron prisión en la Penitenciaria Provincial. Lo imputaron por el delito “Lesiones leves calificadas por el vínculo y por mediar violencia de género”. Por su parte, la mujer golpeada ya recibió el alta médica y está en buen estado de salud, en la casa de su madre. Según reveló la mujer Castro había ejercido violencia durante los 3 meses que convivieron en su domicilio del Barrio La Merced.
