Declaró el femicida de Patricia Menedín y reconoció su responsabilidad
Fabián Heguaburo tuvo su última audiencia pública este jueves, y reconoció haber sido responsable de la muerte de su pareja, Patricia Menedín. Enfrenta un pedido de prisión perpetua, que será analizado en la Cámara Penal 2.
En junio de 2018 Fabián Heguaburo mató a su pareja, Patricia Menedín, tras golpearla de forma grave y asestarle 16 puñaladas. Esta semana su causa, caratulada como “Homicidio calificado por el vínculo, por el ensañamiento y por mediar violencia de género”, pasó a audiencia pública.
Un psiquiatra y una psicóloga hicieron un informe en el que aseguraron que tiene un narcisismo exacerbado. Heguaburo reconoció haber matado a Menedín, aunque dice no recordar lo que sucedió. «Muchas veces estoy solo tratando de entender que pasó, no sé, recordar algo», declaró.
Admitió haber enterrado a la víctima, aunque según el femicida su intención no fue hacerla desaparecer. En su última audiencia, Heguaburo sostuvo: «La enterré, recuerdo eso. Pero no para que no la pudieran encontrar, quería que la encontraran facilmente. No la quería hacer desaparecer, ni fue premeditado».
Dijo que logró cruzar hasta Paraguay, aunque cuando llegó no entendía que sucedía y se volvió. Por último, reconoció la existencia de una voz: «Sentí una voz, un timbre, un sonido como de mujer. Y lo tengo todo el día en la cabeza». El Fiscal de Instrucción 3, Esteban Roche, solicitó cadena perpetua para el femicida y será evaluado por el tribunal.
