El violento episodio ocurrió en Villa Mercedes, en un estudio jurídico en Pedernera al 112. Las damnificadas fueron asistidas de forma inmediata por la Secretaría de la Mujer de la Municipalidad, ubicada frente al lugar de las agresiones.

Cuando Mónica Guerrero y su hija de 13 años se dirigieron al estudio de quien era su abogada, Ivana Schiro, jamás imaginaron el desenlace que iba a tener la visita. Guerrero se presentó en el estudio ubicado en Pedernera al 112 para pedirle a Schiro que firme un poder de revocación notarial, que permita a la damnificada cobrar un dinero de la ART, luego de pasar un juicio por lesiones físicas.

Sin embargo, la respuesta de la jurista fue inesperada: Schiro se negó a firmar y comenzó a insultar a Guerrero mientras su esposo filmaba la situación. En la denuncia se detalla que cuando la mujer intentó evitar que el hombre filme, este la agarró del pelo y le propinó un golpe de puño en la nariz y otro en la nuca.

En su declaración en la Comisaría 8°, Guerrero afirmó que Schiro sujetó sus manos al momento de las agresiones, dejándola indefensa. La pequeña de 13 años quiso intervenir para proteger a su madre, pero el agresor la golpeó en la cara en reiteradas ocasiones.

Ante la impotencia de ver como golpeaban a su hija, Guerrero logró zafarse y escaparon del estudio junto a la menor. Al salir, ambas estaban en estado de shock y la pequeña acusaba lesiones importantes en el rostro. Afortunadamente, fueron asistidas inmediatamente por personal de la Secretaría de la Mujer, ubicada frente al estudio. Grisel Pollacchi, titular de la Secretaría, explicó que al ver el estado de las mujeres llamaron al 911 y a personal de salud para que las revisen.

La causa fue relevada al Juzgado de Instrucción Correccional y Contravencional Nº 1, a cargo del juez Santiago Ortiz: caratuló la causa como “Averiguación de lesión”.
