Justo Daract: ATE denunció que empleados municipales fueron intoxicados tras una desinfección en su ambiente de trabajo
El secretario general de ATE San Luis, Fernando Gatica, narró que 5 trabajadores debieron ser hospitalizados por intoxicación. El lugar donde trabajaban estos empleados ya fue denunciado previamente por la asociación por presentar condiciones insalubres.
La Asociación de Trabajadores del Estado -ATE- denunció que 5 trabajadores sufrieron una intoxicación tras la desinfección que realizó la municipalidad de Justo Daract en su lugar de trabajo. El edificio es un SUM que fue convertido a oficina por el ejecutivo: ya lo habían denunciado por presentar condiciones insalubres para los trabajadores.
Fernando Gatica, secretario general de ATE San Luis, informó que algunos de los damnificados debieron ser asistidos con oxígeno. Aunque ya recibieron el alta, los trabajadores deben continuar con cuidados domésticos. «Con esta acción, queda configurado lo que veníamos denunciando en Justo Daract», afirmó Gatica.
“Irresponsablemente han efectuado la desinfección de instalaciones, sin tener en cuenta que los productos químicos utilizados están prohibidos por ley para ser usados en los ambientes de trabajo», agregó el secretario. Gatica explicó que ya realizaron las denuncias correspondientes y anunció que solicitarán un peritaje para conocer que productos químicos fueron utilizados en la desinfección y conocer las condiciones de ventilación del lugar.
Por último, desde ATE sostuvieron que en los próximos días habrá una manifestación en la ciudad por lo ocurrido.
