Un incendio accidental en Los Molles arrasó con 6 hectáreas de monte

El fuego se originó cuando las chispas que despidió la amoladora de un vecino hicieron contacto con la vegetación. El viento y las condiciones climáticas colaboraron en la expansión de las llamas, que encendieron nuevos focos en la Sierra de los Comechingones y en el valle.

Un accidente doméstico terminó generado un incendio forestal en Los Molles: las llamas se originaron ayer martes a las 13:30, cuando un vecino de la zona suroeste despidió unas chispas mientras trabajaba en una construcción con su amoladora. Las chispas hicieron contacto con la vegetación y rápidamente se extendieron hacia todos lados: en total se perdieron 6 hectáreas de monte.

Gustavo Albornoz, jefe de Bomberos Voluntarios Merlo, explicó a El Corredor Noticias que el viento hizo que las llamas crezcan en extensión y avancen. El fuego afectó el tendido eléctrico de algunas viviendas y muchos vecinos pasaron horas de tensión. Tres dotaciones de Bomberos de Los Molles, una de Cortaderas, una de Carpintería, una del Aeropuerto Valle del Conlara y una unidad cisterna de Merlo acudieron al lugar y lograron controlar las llamas pese al viento y las altas temperaturas.

Albornoz explicó que el foco quedó «circunscripto», aunque hubo reinicios en la Sierra de los Comechingones y en el Valle del Conlara. La alta actividad ígnea afecta diversos puntos del cordón serrano: del lado de Córdoba reportaron incendios forestales, lo mismo del lado de Pasos Malos -Merlo-. Asimismo, ayer se informó la presencia de focos en la zona de Santa Rosa del Conlara. Los Bomberos Voluntarios informaron que rige el alerta extrema por riesgo de incendios, y pidieron tomar todos los recaudos posibles.
