DETECTARON EL TERCER CASO DE DENGUE EN SAN LUIS, EN LO QUE VA DEL AÑO

Se trata de la esposa de la persona que viajó a Tucumán. Con estos casos, la provincia suma tres casos de dengue en total y uno de Chikungunya, todos importados.

Con el de ayer se confirmaron tres casos de Dengue del Serotipo DEN-2; uno con antecedente de viaje a Santiago del Estero y los restantes dos a Tucumán. Así también, sumamos un caso de Fiebre Chikungunya procedente de Paraguay y un caso probable de dengue sin antecedentes de viaje que aún continúa bajo investigación.

Teniendo en cuenta el contexto epidemiológico nacional y provincial de casos de enfermedades transmitidas por mosquitos (ETM) de dengue y fiebre chikungunya, el Ministerio de Salud de la provincia de San Luis, a través del Servicio de Vigilancia Epidemiológica del Programa Epidemiología, emite el presente comunicado con información y recomendaciones.

RECOMENDACIONES A LA POBLACIÓN:

Debe consultar al médico de manera inmediata, toda persona con antecedente de haber permanecido o transitado en zonas de transmisión activa de Dengue o Fiebre Chikungunya o presencia del mosquito transmisor (Aedes aegypti) en los 15 días previos a la aparición de fiebre acompañada de algunos de los siguientes síntomas:

Dolor de cabeza,

Dolor detrás de los ojos,

Dolor muscular,

Dolor articular ( en personas con Fiebre Chikungunya puede durar desde unos poco días hasta perdurar varios meses),

Erupción en la piel,

Náuseas o vómitos,

Dolor abdominal,

Manchas rojas en la piel (petequias) u otras manifestaciones hemorrágicas,

Prurito

IMPORTANTE:

Ante estos síntomas, no automedicarse.

No tomar aspirinas, ibuprofeno, ni aplicar medicamentos inyectables.

Lo más conveniente es que se consulte al médico para que él indique la medicación adecuada.
