La Comisión Reguladora Provincial de Energía Eléctrica (CRPEE) convocó para el próximo lunes 24 de julio a una audiencia pública virtual para analizar un incremento en la tarifa de energía. Edesal presentará un estudio de costos con el que solicitará una suba, por la distribución del servicio, del 28%.

Juan Larrea, secretario general del Partido Comunista de San Luis y uno de los inscriptos como expositores en la audiencia, cuestionó que la audiencia se realice de manera virtual: “No hay ninguna razón de salud pública para evitar que el pueblo concurra una audiencia pública como se ha hecho en épocas pasadas”, sentenció.

Además, remarcó que “la Revisación Tarifaria Integral no se realiza desde el 2012”, cuando se organizó en la ciudad de La Punta. Señaló que ese estudio dejaría en evidencia la estructura de Edesal, la calidad de sus líneas, la vida útil de sus equipos, entre otras, que no justificarían la suba.

“Edesal propone el mismo sistema de siempre, un traslado automático de precios, o sea a tarifa, de los valores que se han incrementado del costo de vida en general, creyendo que esto justifica su accionar. En realidad, el contrato establece normas precisas de carácter técnico y habla de una rentabilidad razonable: Edesal tiene que justificar no solo los valores sino cómo ha manejado en este tiempo el proceso de distribución”, resaltó Larrea.

Consideró también que si la CRPEE le impusiera a Edesal la condición de cumplir con la Revisión Tarifaria Integral “o sea: hacer un estudio técnico en el cual deba fundamentar, justificar, explicar el por qué de estos aumentos, y que no sea solo un traslado de costos, no podría haber un solo aumento más de la tarifa”.
