Pocos juegos son tan incómodos e inquietantes como Little Nightmares. Después del éxito de su primera entrega, en donde conocimos a Six, quién nos llevo por las profundidades del océano a bordo de una estructura submarina carga de oscuridad. Little Nightmares II no se queda atrás, y ahora la ambientación es en un desconocido bosque, donde Mono, tiene que rescatar a una Six que se encuentra encerrada en una caseta extraña y lúgubre.

Una secuela carga de horror y tribulaciones, son el escenario de un escape atravesado por una atmósfera que hace recordar el mejor estilo Tim Burton. Desde allí, el escenario se traslada a una sombría ciudad desierta, una gloria pasada, en la que el mal ha entrado de alguna manera, barriendo todo a su paso. Al igual que su predecesor, sigue con el concepto de las pesadillas vistas desde la óptica de los niños, en un entorno que se agiganta y contrae constantemente. Con proporciones exageradas, está segunda entrega no deja lugar en donde sentirse a salvo o seguros. Es una experiencia que rememora esos miedos que nos asaltaban de niños.

Con escenarios como la escuela o el hospital, en donde uno puede zambullirse en una verdadera experiencia aterradora, se matiza con la ayuda de Six, quien será una compañera invalorable para resolver los acertijos que nos plantea el juego. Entre las novedades, además de la tridimensionalidad del espacio, está la posibilidad del combate con todo tipo de objetos. Pero no deja de ser un juego cuya resolución queda en manos del jugador, y encontrar los lugares secretos va a ser todo un desafío para quien quiera sumergirse en ese mundo apesadumbrado.
